| KittyKat | Tony H, I don't know you are talking about. First, YiaYia's grape leaves have been on the menu about as long as the diner has been open AND they are about the best that I have ever tasted. They are made fresh and not canned like so many other places. Guy said on the show that they were the best he has ever tasted...are you questioning his palate? Second, the menu is NOT overpriced at all AND is probably the BEST diner in the area since it has amazing desserts and menu items that are not found in a "dime a dozen diner." This place is well worth the visit and very deserving of being featured on the show. Ignore Tony, he must be associated with a place that will never be featured on Diners Driveins and Dives...don't be sour grapes Tony. The Boulevard Diner is WELL worth the visit and very deserving of their feature on the show...YUM YUM I wish I could eat there right now!!! | 2/28/2012 8:25:19 PM |
| Tony H | Guy lost a lot of credit with me on this one. This place is right near my house. It is a standard diner that are a dime a dozen in MD. They all offer the same menu of overpriced items. The Yia Yia's stuffed grape leafs? Huh? Just put on the menu prior to the filming. The whole menu just got the TV revamp. Really poor scouting by the DD&D staff. If you want a basic burger and fries diner experience, this place is for you, but nothing special here. | 2/10/2012 2:01:14 PM |
