guestWe love Chucks, but we are very disappointed with the way Diners,Drive-ins, and Dives showed them last night. Hopefully they will get another chance and have a better showing!!10/25/2011 3:42:15 PM
TimI've been a Chuck's customer since he opened up the original, as it was about 50 yards from the bank I worked at. It was a little hole in the wall, but man was it good. He moved next door into a bigger place as the restaurant got more popular and eventually moved again to a much larger facility a few miles down the road (the current location). In my humble opinion, though, the quality of the food has gone down as the size of the restaurant has gone up. Don't get me wrong, I still stop in from time to time, but I no longer go out of my way to eat there.9/2/2011 8:12:00 PM
They are know for there pulled pork, numerous cajun and mexican specials. Mexican pot roast is awesome, pork loin with peppercorn gravy, BBQ nachos, cajun shrimp in garlic butter sauce with bread for dipin'...yummo... and I could keep going ... gotta try this place you won't be dissapointed.5/14/2011 2:23:02 PM
Rhonda ChristensenI can't wait till this episode airs.  This place is awesome..... highly recommend the BBQ nachos :-D , pulled pork sandwich :-D or any of the specials.  He is big into Mexican and cajun dishes.  Chuck(yes, there is really a Chuck) cooked for Rick Bayless at one time and opened a small carry out place in Burbank, Il, his home town, and has since purchased a bigger place just down the road and has never looked back.  Now, he is on the Flavortown map ...  OMG.... what next.   He had to move his annual fest to Toyota Park, the Chicago Fire Soccer team playing field because he ran out of room at local banquet halls.  Can't wait to see what happens next.  Good Luck Chuck... Keep up the great work.3/17/2011 1:17:20 PM
