Spent New Year's weekend with my kids in Salt Lake City. We finished our trip yesterday with a drive up the canyon (New Year's Day) and had a most delicious breakfast at Ruth's Diner. The 45 minute wait was well worth it. Yummy! The complimentary biscuits were awesome and my asparagus omelet was fantastic!!

Was there yesterday. My food arrived cold, the wait staff could care less if I were there or not. Desert didn't taste very good. I'll never be back. The guac was exceptional. Other than that- Ruth's Diner=mediocre. All it has going for it is it's location and history. The food- not great.

Awesome! The drive from the airport took 30 minutes but it was worth the drive. The pudding was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the SLC area.

Love this place! Went with my family at least twice a month from 1993 to 1998, then moved away and thought about it ever since. When I take my own family back in June, we're definitely stopping in for breakfast!

The location is beautiful and unique- it is well worth the the drive for that experience alone- there is outdoor and indoor seating in the summer, with live music outside- and the portabello sandwich I had was delicious. Great ambiance and great food!

The BEST biscuits and gravy ever!

The Chocolate Malt pudding was worth every calorie! And the scenery was well worth the cab fare and 10-minute drive. Don't miss the baked mac & cheese or the awesome onion rings either!

Went to Ruth's in March '10. Biscuits were amazing. All of the breakfast dishes were great. We had to wait but it was well worth it!

This was an amazing place. I couldn't resist the reuben probably the best i've ever had. My 7 year old son had the mac and cheese from the kids menu. I had a hard time not sneaking to many bites. Well worth the stop.

WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE RECIPE FOR BISCUITS

We visited in September '09 for dinner. The meat loaf was great and well as the service. It's a very nice place to dine away from the city.

Visited in July '09. THE BISCUITS WERE AWESOME!!! Not to mention huge and fluffy. I had the pulled-pork eggs benedict. Very tasty. Driving up the winding canyon road, it seemed to take forever getting there, but well worth the drive.

Visit 5/31/09 - LOVE the patio! Biscuits are all they say they are! And can you believe it a make-your-own bloody bar in UT on a Sunday!? Eggs Bene not my fave, tooo rich. But would go back in a flash.

Ruth's is a little more upscale than the usual establishment visited on triple D. The food was great. We had breakfast and Ihad a Santa Cruz omelet. Black olives, avocado, sour cream are only some of the ingredients that made for one of the best tasting and interesting omelet ever. The biscuits they start you off with were light and buttery. The homemade raspberry jam was the perfect compliment. It was too early for their mac and cheese but it couldn't have improved our experience.
