We will be in this area in June and hope we get to check this place out.  We travel with our RV and one of the items on our Bucket List is to hit as many DDD's that we can that are in an area where we are traveling.  Just love the show and am watching a marathon of 27 shows that I recorded right now.  Such fun.

I'm a Louisiana seafood lovin' man, so the seafood up north is sometimes a little strange for me.  I really enjoyed the seafood chowder at Farnham's.  No fresh chowder in Louisiana, but lots of goog gumbo!

I've been to Farnham's many times over the past decade. The clams (with bellies) are unsurpassed anywhere and perhaps only equalled by The Clam Box in nearby Ipswich. The decor is clam-shack poor, and buying drinks separately is a pain, but world-class fried clams more thank makes up for it. Do yourself a favor and skip the more famous TJ Woodman's down the street, where the clams are tough and over fried. Farnham's for lunch and Clam Box for dinner would be tough on my wallet and probably heart but perhaps be the best day ever.

Tourists go to Woodmans, locals go to TJ Farnhams and love it!  Been going there for years!  Food is served hot! They actually test temp their chowder to be sure it's hot enough!

VISITED FARNHAM'S WHILE ON VACATION. HAD TO TRY THE ONION RINGS FEATURED ON TRIPLE D. ONION RINGS HAD LITTLE TO NO FLAVOR BUT THE FISH SANDWICH WAS OUTSTANDING.

I've been to both Woodmans and now, TJ Farnhams.  I doubt I will go back to TJ's.  Clam Chowder was good, Clam strips are better at Woodmans.

Best clam choder and clams on the north Shore. Scallops and oysters excellent too. Skip Woodman's (tourist trap) and get thee here!
