My son lives North of Houston and took us to Lankfords on our recent trip to Texas. I had the Firehouse burger, it was GREAT, very spicy and juicy. Our service was quick and the staff very friendy

The burgers are ok. Wednesdays have enchiladas and they are really good. True homemade TexMex. I work close by and have had everything. Wednesday is the day for me.

Service was horrible. After being shown on Triple D you would think they would get more staff for the lunch rush! They only take cash so don't even think about using a card. The burger was okay but super greasy and huge. Too much mustard made the bottom bun soggy very fast. The burger comes wrapped in a paper wrapper, so all the grease seeps into everything and makes a huge mess. The french fries taste like Ore Ida frozen fries I could have bought at the store for a whole lot cheaper. Was expecting a whole lot more after watching on Triple D. Save your cash and get a burger closer to home that you know is good.

Went there a couple of weeks ago before an Astros game.  Lived up to every bit of the hype.  Great burgers.

Been here two times and love it. Had the "Firehouse" burger on the first visit and loved the heat, the ooze and the grilled taste of the burger. Had to use a fork and knife but ate every bit. Came back today with my wife and she had the "Red, White and Blue" burger with lots of blue cheese, I had the double meat cheeseburger and we split some onion rings. Her burger was excellent and mine was very good. Next time I may try a double meat "Firehouse", or get my heat-loving son to take it on. The food here is excellent, the prices are good and the people are terrific. It will get crowded, but try it once and you will believe! Enjoy!

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Place was a little tricky to find. very chaotic trying to get a table too. Overall, the quality of the burger was worth it.

I have been to over 20 triple d locations & this place was the most overrated by far! If you think their burgers are good...you've never had a REAL BURGER!  Friendly people and cold beer...that's it.

Came into town from Boston and a co-worker took me to Lankford's. I had the Red, White & Blue burger with the tater tots I haven't had since being in high school. Best burger I have ever eaten.

this place lives up to the billing. bring a golfball and let it loose on the floor, see where it ends up, given the slope of the floor. firehouse burger is great, the enchiladas on wednesday are the best in town. breakfast is one of the best in town, as well. someday this place will vanish and all the fun will go away so go as soon as you can.

I LOVE spicy food, the hotter the better. So of course after seeing Triple D....I knew I was going to have to try Lankford's firehouse burger. On a trip to Houston we made a special detour just to try them out. Thank God for GPS, because otherwise we would have never found them. The place is PACKED, and I am sure that has something to do with the show, and the building sits slightly lopsided, but honestly that just added character. They were out of the onion rings I was keen on trying.....but once my buger came out that was soon forgotten. The firehouse burger ranks as one of the 5 hottest things I have ever eaten. IT WAS AWESOME. My face, fingers, and lips were on FIRE. My tongue, well...that went numb in the first 3 minutes. The meat is great, services is awesome even though they were slammed. Great recomm.
