:-P. I made a special trip to eat at this place and was not disappointed. We had buffalo tritip and it was flawless. The chipotle potatoes were a little to hot for me...but the bread was so good I bought a tray to take home. The service was great. I will be going a gain

We stopped by Johnny G.'s in November 2010 when we were doing a west coast Highway 1/101 DDD tour. We had lunch there. a chicken sandwich on a ciabata roll. The sandwich was good. I wish it was later when we went through Santa Rosa, then we could have checked out their dinner menu. Oh well, maybe next time. Guy Fieri wasn't there. LOL

What a diappointment. My brother and sister in-law came to see me this week (I live in Petaluma) and wanted to go to Johnny Garlic's. On Tuesday we went for dinner. We ordered the garlic potato chips appitizer. I have to admit that these were very good. For our dinner we ordered salads and coconut shrimp. My brother and I love coconut shrimp but the shrimp served us were horrible. My brothers order was on the edge of being burnt and my order was in fact burnt. I could not believe that the server served this to us. I sent my order back and got an apology and the order was redone. When the order came back it again was on the verg of being burnt as well as tough so the taste of the coconut was not good.. Normally coconut shrimp are butterflied and a much nicer presentation and golden in color. These were all curled up so you could not hold the shrimp by the tail. My brother said "Well, would I come back to Jonny Garlic's again? No.) The quality is just not there. My brother and sister in-law own two resturants in  Huntington Beach, California for over 30 years and are always trying out different resturants and I have to tell you as far as they are concerned JG's failed to pass the grade. As Petaluma resident this was my last visit. You should visit Cattleman's to see how coconut shrimp should be served.

Guy I want to thank you for helping make our trip fantastic by following your DDD program. We hit Tommy's, Q, Gotts, WillieBirds, Hank's and your place... WOW is all we can say. Well, that and I still want to volunteer to be your cameraman on DDD..... ok?
