Stopped here on a road trip. Our first triple D. Great burgers, great beer.

Ate here while visiting our daughter who was graduating from Boot Camp from Ft. Jackson. Burgers and service was great! This was an excellent place to spend our only evening with her!

We visited Pawleys Front Porch one Sunday evening. We were surprised at 8:00 on a Sunday there
was a thirty minute wait. We ordered the
Front Porch cheeseburger and the mahi-mahi salad. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and had
a really good flavor. The salad was
amazing. Crispy lettuce topped with a black
bean corn salsa, pineapple, cheese and delicious mahi. This is a great burger joint in downtown
    Columbia

My husband and I traveled to SC on our motorcycle to visit our daughter.  We had seen this episode on tv and had to try it!  Awesome is the only word I can come up with!!  Can't wait to go back and visit her again and eat at Pawley's Front Porch!!  5 stars from me.

I ate here on 26 April and got the Edisto.  It was excellent!  The meat was top quality and tasted incredible.  This was one of the best burgers I have ever had.  I will go back again!

Traveling on I20 through Columbia last week and had to detour a ways to try this dive.  Who doesn't like a great burger and it was just that!  Got the Fripp Island burger and besides the great tasting meat, the boursin cheese was outstanding.  I was apprehensive about the pretzel bun but it was soft, yet firm enough to hold it all together.  The fried green tomato, and bean salsa were disappointing though--no flavor at all.

The Fripp Island burger and onion rings are incredible. The portions are hung too and the pretzel bun with Boursin cheese with the red onion ties it all together. Amazing and worth the trip. I'll be back!!!

Some of the best burgers we've ever had. One of the best Triple D places we've been to so far!

Not as good as I thought it might have been.  Try Zesto's for a good burger.  Also, I broke my tooth while eating there & no one seem all too concerned.  Guess that lowered my opinion of them as well.

We've lived in Columbia for years and we LOVE Pawley's Front Porch.  Always have great burgers.  Fries are cold no matter what time of day you go, but we go for the burgers.  We are usually to full to eat any of the frys anyways.  It is in the middle of a college section, but great place to eat!!

The Burgers are awesome-the variety of toppings is phenomenal. Only 4 stars because the sides were only average. But, hey, with a burger this good, maybe just skip the sides.

I have been going to Pawley's since May 2010 and either personally taken or referred hundreds of people to this place. Full credit to Guy & the Triple D show as this was the first place I visited based on being featured on triple D. I will also use this oppty to recommend the Burger Bar in downtown Bristol VA (right on the state line with TN). Try the Fire God burger if you like some heat!!! PFP and Burger Bar are my 2 favorites for now.

the burger was okay, but the regular fries and service was not that great.

I've eaten in a lot of places across the USA and this was the best burger I ever had.

We recently visited Pawly's Front Porch because we saw it on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We had the Fripp Island Burger and the Wadmawla Burger. Both were huge and very delicious! Would definitely recommend both burgers!

Our second stop on Triple-D family vacation tour. Perfectly medium cooked seasoned burgers that were juicy and flavorful.  I had the Beaufort, first time with fried egg on a burger.  The burger was so large the flavor from the egg, ham, and onion rings were over powered.  I believe the burger meat is so good here that less is more with the toppings. Everyone else had the Front Porch burger and they were very good.  Two out of three of our seasoned fries were perfectly cooked but the other order was over cooked and rock hard.  The cinnamon sweet potato fries were sweet but enjoyable.  Lots of beer choices from all over the world to enjoy with the Pawley burgers.  Guy we are still waiting for that Flavor Town amazing DDD stop.  Let’s see what Charlotte has to offer.

This place has OUTSTANDING burger!!  Especially their Fripp Island Burger....YUM...YUM...YUM!!!

I have eaten there twice. Both visits have been below expectations. Burgers are good but I was expecting something that would wow me. Like another writer on this  page, Penquins in Charlotte is more of a dive, diner and drive in and the food is wonderful. Pawley's is a new eatery in Columbia and most people were surprised when it was chosen to be on the show.

We were in Columbia for a business trip. There were 6 of us out for dinner. This was one of the best burgers we have ever had.  Great little restaurant. We went there on a Friday night and the place was packed. Great choice. I couldn't finish my burger.

I was up in Columbia for spring break this year with my friend and we decided to stop by Pawley's while we were there after she watched the episode. The first thing I noticed was that it wasn't nearly as busy as I expected. I don't remember exactly what day we went but it was early in the week, so that might have been why. I ordered the Rockville burger with the sweet potato fries and my friend got the same with regular fries. I loved the char on the buger and how huge it was, I didn't even get close to finishing it. I have to say that the cinnamon on the fries didn't really tickle my tatesbuds but the burger was awesome.

This was the second place in our slow but steady jourmey to try every restaurant from triple D.  Gotta be honest, not as good as I expected.  Maybe it was because we visited the Penguin in Charlotte first, but definitely short of the expectations.  Got a very good to exceptional fried green tomoato appetizer.  Unique with great flavor, but not enough for 8 bucks.  We both tried different sandwiches.  Kierston tried the one Guy had with the jalepeno pimento Cheese and Bacon.  I got one with Ham, fried egg, and an onion rings on top.  Was suprised that the flavors were fairly plain considering the toppings.  Expected something bold and popping, but this wasn't it.  The best thing we tried was the mustard that we had to ask for the sweet potato fries.  Service was a little below average.    This is a great place to have an expensive burger while drinking some nice beers at a pretty comfortable bar.  The bar itself and the covered deck-porch are the highlights.  Pawley's is right in the middle of a bustling college bar scene. If you are into the young party scene, you might want to start your night here.  If you are looking for exceptional culinary experiences this isn't the place.

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Onion Rings are fantastic too. I would definately recommend it.

The burgers are expensive, but fantastic and the sides are good too.  They have french fries, sweet potatoe fries, pasta salad, or onion rings.
