people complaining because courses are small over portions are not huge, you need to get over american portions. the food is deliciuos. Goto back to mcdonalds or burger kinds and have your disgusting and cheap huge meals.

We went there during a recebt trip to San Francisco. The place was great. The tri-tip sandwich was amazing. They even help you out by noting on the menu which items were featured by DDD. Next time I am in the Bay area I am making the trip to go back to Schellville Grill!!

I went into the restaurant after watching it on Diner, Drive in and dives. I brought my family of four. First of all let me say there is no kid menu in this place. So we ordered three differant items and shared them. We first started with an appetizer of Onion Rings. They were delicious. Then the next two orders came out. The mixed grill platter. Which was not very good and rather small portion. The tri tip was very chewy. The chicken was not bad but a little dry. The pork shoulder was probably the best of the bunch. It included a little bit of mashed potatoes and 3 stalks of Asparagus. Very small portion. We also ordered the ribs. I am not very big on Pork Ribs and they were not bad but not great. Then came the featured item. The Lasagna. I spooned some out and it looked like slop. Did not taste very good. I make better Lasagna. My kids wanted some dessert so I ordered the Chocolate Cake. Best thing that we ate here. Again very small portion.Bottom line is it was rather dissapointing. I even had a coupon discount of $20.00. The total bill was $88.00 and honestly not worth it. There are much better places to eat for the money in Sonoma.

One of the best places in Sonoma! The breakfast, lunch and dinner are outstanding. Plenty of food and Mateo Nagan always entertaining to watch and talk with. His positive energy make for a great expereince. This has become a destination stop whenever we drive to Northern California. Definitely recommend this place to others.

Not the worst place I ever ate, but was disappointed overall. We enjoyed the back patio but the food was average at best. Had the smoked tri-tip sandwhich per Guy's recommendation. It was smoked ok but the sauce left much to be desired. Will not make a special trip for this place again.
