The staff was very friendly. I had the 6-way. It was good, didn't blow
me away. I wish the chili to spaghetti ratio was greater as I had a lot
of spaghetti and felt like I missed a little bit of the combined flavors
of all 6-ways. I thought the bottle caps on there own were quite good.
Overall, a fine experience, I would eat it, orsomething else, from there
again. Though being from DFW not sure when I would have the chance, but
not a must do repeat either.

We tried the 5 way and an order of the bottle caps. I have to say it was certainly different than what we expected. We are from Toronto and the Cincinnati style chili is not what we are use to. We found it lacking in flavor. The bottle caps were crispy and spicy with a nice dip. I did like the idea of the 5 way chili and made it for dinner when we returned from our vacation and it was a big hit with the family using my homemade chili, so thanks for the great idea:) The staff were very friendly and others were really enjoying their meals, it just wasn't to our taste.

We really liked this place, the chili was great. We shared the Guy's Way and the Chili Lasagna. Staff was fun to talk with, service was outstanding as were the prices. Next time in Cincinnati area we'll stop at Blue Ash Chili.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We where sadly disappointed it was very lackluster food. Bland chili the bottle caps tasted microwaved the six way chili was lacking as was the the fried pickles made us feel sick later that night not sure if we will try any more places Guy recommends. Over all bad experience I'd give this place a D+ at best the servers where nice tho

I would like to write a review, but infortunately we stopped on a Sunday, and they aren't open on Sundays. Would have been nice to know that. We're from Michigan, were driving home from Kentucky, so I don't know when we'll be that way again.

On a recent trip through Cincinnati, I stopped by Blue Ash Chili for dinner on the way up and for lunch on the way back to Alabama. For dinner I tried the Signature Six-Way Chili and ordered a side of Jalapeno Bottlecaps. A great tasty choice and the chili was piled high. For lunch a few days later I had the hot Roast Beef Sandwich. Equally as tasty. I shall visit there again.

Good, but tasted a bit manufactured--like a budding chain, not a unique experience. Everyone enjoyed his food, however, and the price was right. I'd probably go from time to time if I lived nearby.

we stopped on our way from akron to cincy and fell in love with this diner. my 13 year old daughter had the BEST sandwich in her life, the double decker bacon chicken salad. must have had 1/2 a pound of bacon on it! my m-i-l's chicken finger sandwich had 3 LARGE chicken fingers on it and my other daughter and i both enjoyed the chili! waitress was very attentive and the guy at the checkout was friendly as well. we will be back the next time we pass through the area... counting the days!

I am lucky enough to live less than 10 minutes away from Blue Ash Chili. I honestly have never had a bad meal there. The chili is great. It's thicker, and creamier than Skyline (I personally cannot stand Gold Star.) The Chili Philly is really good despite the odd combination. The double deckers are HUGE and have to smash it down just to cram it in your mouth. Even the kids meal are huge. I turned my girlfriend - who is not from the Cincy area - into a Blue Ash Chili fanatic as well as our 3 year old daughter. I highly reccomend this place. Even over Skyline or that other place

We visited Blue Ash Chili last weekend while in Cincinnati. Greg is from Cincinnati originally and loves Cincinnati Chili (Gold Star over Skyline). I have eaten both of the other chain's chili before and really can't tell the difference. Anyway, we visited Blue Ash Chili and while the food was good, honestly it didn't taste any better than what I've gotten from Gold Star and Skyline. (We ate the coneys). I do love Cincinnati chili though and think next time I'll go for one of the sandwiches instead. The Chili Philly looked phenomenal, although the Dogless Popper I had was quite unique and good. Staff was very friendly and since it was our first time, the waitress let us taste the chili before we ordered it. Service was quick. We'll definitely visit again.

As Cincinnati-style chili go, Blue Ash Chili is one of the better of the small independent places. But a word of warning to anyone not familiar with Cincinnati-style chili, its an acquired taste. Thankfully its a taste I've acquired. Although I don't live in Cincy, I have family who lives there and I manage to visit a several times a year. (Confession, I go for the chili and, because I've already driven 300 miles and need a place to sleep, I stop to see my relatives.) And, when time permits, I like to try out some of the smaller, independent places. Seeing Blue Ash Chili on Triple D moved it to the top of the list for my most recent trip. I'm pleased to say that Blue Ash Chili will become part of my chili joint circuit. If you've been to one of the local chains, I thought that Blue Ash's chili tasted most similar to the chili served at the local chili-chain biggie-- Skyline. But Blue Ash's chili was thicker, less soupy than at the chain establishments. I had a 6-way seen on Triple D. The jalepenos don't add much and I ended up picking them off and eating them separately. But service was quick despite the place being very busy with the lunch crowd.
