H_NicWE just got back from eating at The Bagel Deli, It was great! Mind you it is a deli ... so service and atmosphere is very casual, so don't bother going if you are to snotty to pick something up to eat at a gas station, or find eating at a Fast food joint beneath you. We are visiting Denver and decided to check the DDD places to eat. My wife saw this episode and loves Matzo balls, so she ordered the DDD special (Matzo ball soup, knish, and kishka) which she loved! I tried the Knish with purple horseradish, which I really liked. I had the cornbeef and pastramii with kraut, Amazing!  The meat was thin sliced and fresh, you can tell they know what they are doing! Potions were giant, so know you can finish it yourself or decide to share! The owner even came out and asked how we were doing. Only disappointment was the Black and White cookie, which my wife (she should know) feels if not authentic to what a B&W cookie should be, ours was a crunchy cookie, but it should have been a doughy soft cookie (according to the wife, who happens to be a pastry chef, so I trust her. All and all we spend 50 bucks for the four of us and I will still be digesting the sandwhich till morning! Money well spent, we will be going back!5/4/2012 6:31:51 AM

erma dud :) Loved the food--make you want to slap your momma GOOD!!!! Place was packed..came in on Saturday about 1:30ish and it was wall to wall wait,  But man, was the wait worth it.  Had 1/2 sandwich #3 (hot pastrami/corned beef) and Matzo ball soup and a side of Knish (sp???).  Never had Matzo ball soup before and it was delish.  My hot pastrami was STACKED high on the keiser roll and mind you I had 1/2 of a sandwich. Brought a Knish back for the fam to try along with the PINK horseradish!!!!  Friendly folks!!! While sitting there waiting for our food to arrive, plates of the Rueben was ENORMOUS...Good gods!!!! My husband had the french dip....and he's a big man,,,he devoured it!  If ever I'm in town again, we will come back!!!  Will post pix when I get home....Awesome food 11/26/2011 8:04:45 PM
TamaraLoved this place. I tried the Guy Fieri special (Matzo ball soup, knish, and kisha). Flavors I've not had before, but really enjoyed. The Kisha was a pleasant surprise -- reminds me of Thanksgiving dressing. Will definitely go back and try other items on the menu.7/18/2011 3:57:09 PM
