This place was simply great. The food is fresh and delicious. The 7-salsa bar was a unique bonus. The marinated steak was superb . Our server, Alex, was friendly and accommodating. Loved my visit.

Travelling to the Grand Canyon in March 2014 caused us to locate and stop at this place, even tho we hadn't seen the episode. Can't tell you how amazing the staff were when we entered on a Margarita night. Killer margaritas. Fresh everything after that. My wife ordered one of Guy's recommendations-the Chicken Sopapilla…OMG couldn't believe the taste, size and freshness. Could not finish this amazing dish between the two of us. Amazing from the appetizer table taco chips, fantastic key lime pie we still talk about as the best ever. Planning to go back from Canada.

Have eaten mexican all over the world and this place does it right! Outstanding service, food that is indescribably good and a salsa bar that rocks. Going to or thru Flagstaff then visit this place, you won't be disappointed!!

    Good service. Bad food.
Typical American style Mexican food. 2/10. Good salsa bar! The only good thing was the "gordito burrito" (2/3 dishes failed)

I lived in Flagstaff for 16 years, and my family ate at Salsa Brava a couple times a month. Phenomonal Mexican food, I didn't realize how truly delicious it was until i moved out of state and couldn't find anything like it. Flagstaff has so many great mexican places, and Salsa Brava is definitely in my top 3. Fresh food, great variety on the menu, everything tastes great, and the salsa bar has many fantastic and flavorful options. Definitely worth a try, whether you've just moved to Flag or you're a visitor! Highly recommend, I was so happy when I saw it on TV!

I am so glad that I didn't let your experience affect ours. Our meal was fantastic and we are New Yorkers so we know good food. ;)

Here are the good things about this place, the service was wonderful, the salsas were great and flavorful. Now here is the bad, my husband ordered the Navajo taco, the pork was flavorless, the beans tasted as if they came out of a can he added salt hoping it would somehow taste better but in the end he couldnt eat it. I ordered the Sour cream enchiladas, the rice was not good at all it was dry and needed some spice, the black beans were ok, but the enchiladas were disgusting they had such a weird flavor. I threw up my food almost immediately. When the waitress asked us if we wanted boxes and we said no thanks, she asked us if she could make us the food again and we said no. The manager came and was very apologetic, and didnt charge us for our meal which we thought was very nice. So like I said the service was wonderful, but unfortunately the food wasn't. We love mexican food and we are mexican also so have tasted lots of good authentic mexican food. But this was not authentic mexican food and it was flavorless from the chicken to the pork to the beans and rice. We wanted to like it but it was a bust for us...

First DDD stop from LA to Chicago.  Pretty good, the service was awesome.  I liked the salsa bar but my boyfriend who doesn't love super spicy food would have appreciated a salsa other than pico that wasn't spicy.  I had two different kinds of fish tacos that were good, but I wouldn't say better than anything I can get in LA.  He had the sopapilla that was on the show and loved it.  We would probably go back, but I'd try a different DDD place next time I'm in Flagstaff first.

Very disappointing! Not good at all!

This place is living on a reputation. Had the beef chimi here. Just terrible. the meat was not shredded as you would expect from a good restaurant. I ordered green sauce but none appeared. The beef itself tasted weird. really cheddar cheese on a chimi who does that? My wife had the fajitas aveerage at best. The only redeeming quality in the place was the salsa bar. The tomatilla salsa was terrible but the rest of the salsas were very good.

The pineapple salsa was great! Staff was very nice and loved that we took pics! Food was great, even though we are not mexican food fans. Service was super.

Stopped in on our way to Vegas. Great place. Cheerful staff. The salsa bar is a great facet of this place. The food was wonderful. A great addition to our other DDD stops. Were headed out west again next summer, this will be a must stop.

In Flagstaff today, had to visit Salsa Brava to add to our list of Triple-D stops.  Definitely a great choice.  The Blackened Salmon Tacos and Maui Tacos were great and the fresh salsa on the salsa bar was the best!  You need to add this one to your DDD list as well...

Our first stop along our ddd trip, Salsa Brava certainly did not dissapoint. The adovado was amazing and so were the Maui Tacos with carnitas. My friend had the sopapilla that was featured on the show and thought it was great. The servive was fantastic and the salsa was great too. Our group thought we couldnt have done better for our first stop. Cant wait to go back!

This was our very first Diners, Drive-ins and Dives stop on a four month trip. We thought the decor was very nice (check out the salsa bar - very cool), the place was clean and they had good music playing and the food and service was fabulous! I had the special carnita pork tacos and Bob had the monster combo burrito. It was barely noon and the place was already crowded with happy people even though it was snowing outside! I also recommend buying the chef's book "Salsa Brava Cocina" because he shares cooking tips, a history of the restaurant and some really delicious receipes. The waiter even took our picture in front of the Salsa Brava sign outside. I can't imagine a better place to eat!! :* :) :)

Got the fajita combo, the ribs were good but the chicken was dry and the shrimp was bland.  The food also came out cold.  The drinks and staff were great.

I ate at Salsa Brava a few times while travelling to Flagstaff. Very flavorful, well prepared food. I wouldn't hesitate to dine there again.

Very good, very friendly staff, Cadillac Margarita was good, queso was great.  Enjoyed the carnita, good flavor.  Tried the pineappla habanero salsa, just right amount of sweet to off set the heat but it will grow on you.  Would definetly recommend it, very easy to get to.  Good job Guy!!!
