Jamaica Way's owner, head chef, and flavor connoisseur. She started as a young girl in Mandeville, Jamaica feeding her family hearty meals that not only kept them fed, but craving more. It was only natural that when she came to the US she transformed her cooking skills into a restaurant, but not just any restaurant.

Went here while in Nashville for a conference, and all I can say is WOW! I had the mango chutney chicken, which was fabulous. I wish I had more people with me so we could have split/tried several other dishes, but maybe next time. I also had the coconut/ginger crunchy dessert, which was surprisingly good. I got there a little before noon, which is wise, as at noon it did start to get busy, though they really get you through the cafeteria-style system quickly. I will go back without a doubt!

Love this place!! We had the jerk chicken, salmon, and sweet potatoes. When you drive up and have to go into food court, door under sign is locked. We didn't like the meat pies but everything else was incredible - we'll be back!

OH my goodness......Mango chutney chicken, sweet potatoes, collard greens and johnny cake. GRACIOUS!!!! This meal was simply scrumptious!! Not only was the meal delicious, the portions are outrageous! I had enough for two meals! I've never been to Jamaica, but I plan to visit one day, and I truly hope that the meals prepared in the country are as delicious as the food at Jamaica Way!!

My first time to try Jamaican food, OR goat meat! I had the curried goat with yellow rice w/ beans, cheesy potatoes and johnny cake. It was really good. Glad I went!

Was pretty good. I wanted the ox tail but they didn’t have any. So I settled for the curried goat with greens and yellow rice, and a Johnny cake. A couple firsts for me, goat and greens a lot better than I thought. To many bones and not enough goat meat though. The local Jamaican soda was good too. I went after lunch time and it wasn't that busy. The younger woman that served me didn't make my first time experience very enjoyable, seemed like it was an inconvenience that I didn't know what to get. The gentleman cashier was super nice though. Overall was good.

I came from N.C. and tried it 1/16/11 I must say it was worth the trip. Anytime I'm in that neck of the woods I know exactly where I will be eating. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish them all of the luck in the world and much success. I'm a former owner of Montego Bay Restaurant in Wilmington N.C. and I know good authentic Jamaican Food and they definetly have it.

Had to go all the way to Nashville to get some of the best Jamaican food in the country.  Fantastic!
