Got to Boulder at 9:45, ordered our pizza. It was fantastic! loved the crust!!! They warned us that at 10 it turned into a bar, so we may want to eat towards the back. It did, and I'm glad we moved. Fantastic, and that was pizza at 10:00!

Stopped here on my recent visit to Denver. Had the pizza featured on the show! Great food however services was less than impressive. Never had our drinks refilled, order a beer that was warm and never received honey for the crust that we had requested three seperate times from three separate employees since our waitress neglected us once she took our order. Service needs work!

We had lunch earlier this week at The Sink in Boulder.  I saw it on this site and we made it a point to stop in on our way up to Rocky Mountain National Park.  I had a Sink Burger and it was awesome.  Truly juicy, flavorful beef and a great choice of condiments and veggies to add so that you can customize your own burger.  I opted for bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and jalapenos.  I was also more than pleasantly surprised when I got the bill and saw that my Avery White Rascal draft beer was only $3 for a pint!  Where I'm from, premium beer like that is $5 minimum.

The Sink is where we used to go in the days when life was still bitchin' and the times were rollin'. Everything is good at The Sink especially the cold beer and a sinkburger!  I heard they went back to the way it was when we were at CU.  FANTASTIC!

I've been going to The Sink since I was 15 and underage. That was about 1962. The name comes from the fact that in the '30's and early '40's it was a 3 step walk-down called The Sunken Gardens. Best things on the menu are the Sinkburger - basically a sort of barbecue sauce and a lot of grated cheddar (Herb and Johnny were Reform Jews - no separation), the gourmet burger, just keep adding, and the best fries in town. Way back when, when McD's fries were a dime, these guys were putting out a heaped paper plate for a quarter. Lunch for 2 along with a pitcher. The kids have it now, but it's still a good place to go even though they did tear out my booth and put in a bar. I have the booth with my initials in the table along with a lot of friends.

1/1/11 - Just stopped in for a quick drink with my hubs.  It is fun place with fun people.  It is definitely a 'college' bar, if not up your alley don't visit here!  But if can appreciate the young atmosphere you will love it!
