Deep-fried heaven: olives for appetizer, gizzards for entree and Reese peanut butter cups for dessert. Staff could not have been friendlier. The bar is a dive which matches perfectly with "downtown" Potterville.  Definitely worth going out of your way for.

I ate at Joe's Gizzard City last week. We ate the Gizzard sampler. It was aweful!!! The gizzards were tender; however, they had entirely too much batter and no flavor. We asked for gravy, being southern, everything is better with gravy...WRONG!!! The gravy tasted like chicken noodle soup without the noodles. Then we split the Triple D burger... BARF CENTRAL! First off, when the waitress brought the plate over I could see a long hair hanging off the plate. I abruptly pointed out the hair and the waitress took it away. Thirty minutes later, our burger was brought back miraculously with a knife hole in the top...similar to the hairy burger. Regardless, the inside of the burger was doughy and the meat was over cooked. Save your time and money and DO NOT GO HERE!!!! You will thank me and so will your tummy! That gut bomb did some damage to me!

Totally a filth pit.  This place use to have good food but because management (or lack of) so much turnover in staff makes for a non consistant producted and a poor attitude amongs workers.  More regulars are finding other dining places with better food at a much better price.

This place is VERY disgusting and dirty.  I had gizzards and fried Chicken.  The gizzards have no flavor at all.  The batter on the chicken was in a big glob and wasn't crisp.  Yuck!!!  The place is so RUN down.  I know it's a dive but this takes the cake.  If Joe's customer's don't care, why should Joe care to clean and remodel this pig pin?

Joe's is a dive, but that makes it great! Had the Triple D burger with onion rings and fried pickles, it waqs awesome and incredible.  I am from Maryland. Joe and his staff sat and talked with me while I ate my lunch.  Great atmosphere and great food.  A must if you are in Lansing!!

went to pottersville for the gizzard fest after hearing about it ,drove from indy and found out it was the weekend before fathers day missed by a week but it worked out better,no crowd so you could enjoy your time, saying the staff was great is an understatement we've decided that if we are near enough on one of our other trips we will do it again and yes the triple d is worth it

My husband and I decided to start our triple d quest close to home @ Joe's Gizzard City.  Totally lived up to everything we expected.  Everyone there was super nice, and our waitress even stopped waiting on the other tables to take our pix in front of the "guy ate here" sign.  Being as close as it is to our home we will def stop in again.  Maybe for the Gizzard Festival, if not then, def for the deep fried Reese's again.  OMG they were GREAT!
