Warren Almeda is a Long Beach native who launched the Discussion Truck with a slightly smaller Filipino menu and took a year off to prepare sushi before bouncing back with Belly & Snout in K-Town in 2014. He makes the most of the small space, with a wood counter up front, faux brick walls, and a dining room in back with a cartoon mural of a pig in the city.

I changed jobs and now can almost see the food hall from my office window. Belly & Snout is delicious, and the owner is super cool.
