ex-boyfriend of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives restaurant owner tries to sabotage her business
I just got finished reading a story about a small restaurant here in Minneapolis that is closing down due to what seems to be a death by a thousand cuts (http://www.citypages.com/restaurants/as-of-this-morning-kingfields-blackbird-cafe-has-abruptly-closed/566816801) which makes me upset. My wife and I have visited this place a few times and enjoyed it so it's sad to hear them going out of business. Last thing I want there is some global chain like Denny's showing up there so I will have to make more of an effort to support these small restaurants.
This guy killed her business for three months and it's such a small margin business anyways that I'm amazed she didn't close down. I'm very happy to hear that she's going to keep going and hopefully make it thru all this.
At the same time, let me give one last piece of advice to all those in relationships: if you break up, change everything ... i.e. locks, passwords, credit cards, check your credit report etc. You don't know how the other person may respond and react so you need to be aggressive about revenge tactics.
