Stopped by on recent Twin Cities DDD roadtrip. Went for lunch and had pot roast. Was really good, but reminded me of my mom's when she leaves in slow cooker. Really wished they didn't change their menu so often so could try the lamb burger that was featured on show. Guy said he'd hunt down the chef if they didn't have it on the menu next time he was in town. Guess they didn't take his threat seriously.

Wife & I were the 1st guests of the day! Just unlocked the door as we walked up. Very retro look inside. The feel of a '50's diner, but with the prices of today. Nothing comes cheap, but that doesn't mean it's not good. Food was fantastic. Music went along with the hussle & bussle of a busy diner. We will be back, to try out the luch/dinner menu sometime.

The pot roast is simply amazing. Don't think potroast in the summer but this potroast is a must have all year long.

Very cool restaurant and I got the pot roast and it was awesome and had a good local beer to go with it. If I lived in Minneapolis I would be going back all the time.

I had breakfast at the modern town. I had the pampered egges, and my husband had the potroast hashbrowns. The hasbrowns were the best.

Jenn and I finally went here and we enjoyed it although they only had one item left from the TV show and that was the Lamb Burger. I had the meatloaf, she had the Risotto but the killer meal was my sisters Pot Roast. Wow, what a tangy delight that was. I'm going back for that Pot Roast for sure.
