Meet my son and daughter-in-law here for breakfast while in Portland. I ordered the “Three Day Weekend” breakfast and my husband ordered pancakes. The food was delicious!!!! Wish we could have stopped in again before we left town!
Stopped in for breakfast on our second day in PDX. What a cool place. Loved looking at all the stuff on the walls. Even spotted some local for us memorabilia with the Bemidji MN flag. I had the hash and mom had a scone and bowl of oatmeal. She loved the scone so much that she ordered another one to go. We came in right towards the end of breakfast, and I was surprised how many people walked out on them because they had switched to lunch. There must have been at least 5 groups of people that came in and left. I know Guy didn't feature anything off their lunch menu, but really, give it a shot anyway. Or get up earlier.

My son and I stopped by and ate breakfast in November 2010. The food was excellent. This place was packed and we were there early. It was clean, the wait staff was very attentive, and the food was top shelf. If you are ever in Portland, vist this restaurant. It is a very interesting ecclectic place with lot's to see on the walls and in the shelves on the walls.

It was great! Well worth the trip. Great old diner atmosphere. Amazing veg omelete! The bisquit was to die for! It was huge and as my wonderful husband would say "deeeelicious"!

The Byways Philly cheese steak was great. Service friendly and customer oriented.
Will go back next time I'm in town.

By far the best Reuben I have ever had!!! My Buddy and I went for breakfast on our road trip and we missed the breakfast so we decided to try the sandwich's. The server suggested the Reuben, so we got the Reuben and the Pendleton. Both were good, but the reuben just melted in the mouth to the point, that when we finally got over how good it was, we had wished we had got one for the road.
