We thought the meat was way to smokey and the sauce too watery. Not to our taste. Wont go back.

Another failed attempt at this culturally deprived community trying to be like the rest of the nation. This was over-rated pure slop served in a dirty place.

I have had a lot of BBQ over the years, and this was about as bad as I have had. Ribs and brisket was tough.  Chicken was good, and the sauce decent.  Overpriced for the quality of food that you get.

He should have gone to Sugarhouse BBq company which wins the award every year in Salt Lake for best BBQ.

You have to go on Fridays and GO EARLY... their burnt ends are AMAZING!!!  Since they only serve them on Fridays and they run out... get there early!!  I am from the South and this place reminds me of home!  I love the live music and the fresh bread pudding they serve!

This place was ok, I have had way better BBQ in other places.  I usually always order the sliced Brisket and this one was tough and extremely dried out, overall not very good.  We sat in the patio area and it was good for a big group.  The group I was with had different things but they said the same thing.  Good luck with this place, I bet we just went on an off night, I hope.

Possibly the best ribs I have ever had, great rice and bean with a kick, and fun atmosphere!

This is our first "Guy" vacation spot for the family and we are not disappointed at all!  The bbq was not what we are used to up in Vancouver(Port Moody) Canada.    As far as bbq goes ours are more saucy really than dry rubbed. We learned very quickly that the sauces they give you on the side make the meal.  There was my wife, my 7 year old son and I.   We tried pulled pork, brisket and ribs and all were great.    We ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and that was good as there were a lot, only order the whole to share between a few people.   We could have ordered a 1/4 even, but did get through the 1/2. For sides we had coleslaw, jambalaya and baked beans and all of them were great.  Clearly it is easy to order too much, so look to share if you can and order the combo plates to get a taste of everything. The staff were very good and the food was served quickly and came with a smile.   They change the specials daily and apparently Friday is the day to go with "Burnt Ends" being the best of the week.    Get there early though as these sell out very quickly and if you are there at the end of lunch time it could even be too late. Deserts also change daily and today we had sweet potato pie and bread pudding.  The bread pudding was outstanding.    Guy,, thank you for your show and honest opinions on these places.    We will definetly be going on more "Guy" family vacations. Sorry to say that we didn't really like the food.  The old picnic tables on the back patio of a run-down old building were really fun, and the staff was very attentive and pleasant.  But the bbq itself was not very good.  The sauces were not to our taste and the the meat, while nicely smoked, did not have that wonderful bbq taste that I love.  I like almost any type of bbq--except this.  (That's my problem, not Pat's, I would guess, but be aware that some real bbq fans didn't really like it.)

Solid BBQ joint.  They have blues bands come in and play while you eat at the rows of picnic tables and benches with paper towels and BBQ sauce sitting there.  I had a combo with ribs and brisket and could not ask for more.  Both were really good and the sides were as good or better.  I had the greens (that might have had a bit too much vinegar) that had chunks of ham in them and they were really good.  The red beans and rice had spicy Andouille sausage with it and was spicy but good.  Would definitely hit this place again.

We visited in September '09. We had the brisket and ribs combo. The food was very good and the portions were huge. The staff was very friendly. We liked the "shrine" they had set up for the DDD visit.

Visit - 5/30/09 Not a real BBQ person.  It is smoked good flavor.  Jambalaya and red beans and rice sides were the highlight for us. Well and of course the blues band!
