Guy Fieri should come to Connecticut if only to eat here.I've been coming here for fifty years and am just as excited now as I was my first time. Simply delectable.

Sept. 2013 Worth the trip! Unique menu and great tasting! Not typical diner food.

Food was good. Stop #20 on the Triple D tour. Must say this was the most disappointing stop sofar. Little bit of sticker shock after lunch. Everytime I would talk to the server, she would look at her watch. I would return for a second visit though.

On the weekend, be ready to wait because this cute little place is so popular. We enjoyed sharing a table with another couple and their small children. The menu is big and interesting, the cakes muffins and sweets are fresh daily. Watch "Ed" (owner/chef) around your wife, he's a flirt 8-) Worth the ride, and he will even watch for the meter aid and go feed the meters when they approach =-O

Tiny little place filled with amazing food. I tried the 'steamed cheeseburger' with sharp, white cheddar on it, sweet potato fries...a berry crisp for dessert - terrific! I sat by myself at the counter, talked with the server, then one of the chef's was mixing up a new cake flavor, and let some of the guests try the batter...to get our opinion. Fun, warm, inviting, delicious! Parking sucks, but who cares, you will need a walk after you eat here!

This place is a combination of everything I love: bacon, eggs, ridiculous french toasts, a quaint diner atmosphere, and cute homosexual waiters. it's a 10!!

The food is very tasty. It can be await but worth it. Breads (quick) are very good. I like the veggie hash celery tasting with 2 eggs and sweet potato hashbrowns. Grit cakes are good. Family likes pancakes and french toast there.

Visited this place last summer. Great value, coffee cup constantly filled and the food was fresh, tasty and made to order. Just how a good diner should be.
The trip from Massachusetts to NY has just gotten better!!! O'Rourkes Diner was the perfect place to stop for breakfast...only a few minutes off of 91. The food was awesome and the staff even better.

ORourke Diner in my opinion is an awesome place that knows how to serve food in a different atmosphere.

We just visited this diner while 'college shopping'. Great food and wonderful host! We had breakfast at lunchtime. my son had a sandwich. We all agreed it was great. Would definately drive out of the way to go here! Beautiful area too! Our younger son was not feeling well and I was touched by how kind the host was trying to cheer him up.
