Longs says We ate at Big Jim's on a Friday night, December 2, 2011, got there around 6:30 p.m. Big Jim's is non-smoking but we chose the dining room anyway. We didn't have to wait to be seated, although we ended up close to the door in the dining room so every time it opened, we got the cold air. We had the fried eggplant appetizer, which was very good, and meals included stuffed shells, lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, and veal parm dinner. Everything was very good and the portions were HUGE, everyone needed boxes to take home. From what we could see of others' meals, everything looked good. The place is definitely a dive, dated, dim dining room, but it's very good local fare.
