Hey I live in Lake Mary Florida and saw the show on food network with Guy. I was born in Washington and lived in Frederick Md before moving. Iwould really like to know if they could ship down south. Ha!Ha! I guess i'll have to get my brother to bring me some.

If you are going to make the commitment to go there, definitely order the beef! For some reason, I went for a cheeseburger and it was quite dry. My husband had the beef and loved it. Their menu is quite big, which I think overwhelmed me. They weren't at all pushy so take your time. The fries were great!

This place it truly awesome. I go here often. The beef is great, smoky flavor to everything, definately hit the tiger sauce and the fries are fresh cut cooked in peanut oil, so delicious. When I take it to go (about a 10 minute ride) I am salivating and just can't wait to dig in before I can get home. If you are doing the triple D tour, you gotta hit this one!

Took a ride to Chaps Pit Beef.  The food is very good, beef grill to perfection and sausage was not overly spicey which I prefer.  And the portion size makes it well worth the trip.  This is definately a place to keep on a trip agenda.

Parking lot was in the local gentlemens club parking lot.  But Wow, the Que Rocked!  Ribs were juicy and really tasty,  Beef was excellent and sausage was on point.  Great food would love to come again.

Chaps Pit beef is awesome!! Since I live in Maryland, my wife and I hop on the Harley and get lunch every now and then.  The sandwiches are full of meat with lots of fixins to make it yours!!!  See pic below of the Raven!! Pit beef, turkey, and pastrami, yuuummmyyyyYYY!!!

I got the Raven and loaded it up with Tiger sauce and BBQ sauce.  One of the happiest messes I have ever had.  The fries here suck so they got a 4 star.  My wife got a rib sandwich and it was just ok.  Line was out the door and the location is far unless you are on the harbor freeway.  Surrounded by porno shops and strip clubs.

I've been there at least 5 times and each time the food is amazing and so is the service. The Chap's Special is my favorite but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely go there!

Other than all-things-crab, Baltimore's OTHER draw is the many pit beef stands in and around town.  I'm a Baltimore native.  Chap's is perhaps the best pit beef stand in town.  And I've eaten at many.  The selection of sandwiches offered fills a wall.  I haven't tried them all but I'm working on it. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Plenty of parking.  Expect a line a out the door at lunch time, but it moves fast.

Delicious food. Pit beef and smoked sausage make a perfect combo!

OK, I know I am not normal, but the last time I landed inBaltimore, I had a 4 hour layover.  I actuall rented a car and drove up to Chap's just for the sandwich.  It is that good, and without a doubt, it is worth the trip.  I highly recommend the "52" as the combination of the pit beef and corned beef is out of sight.  First timers might want to try the straight Pit Beef to understand the taste, but the second time you're there, go for the combos.

I've been there a bunch of times.  I dig on the Denny Dog.  Hey Guy!  Did you go next door?

I had the 52 Chaps(ham, corned beef, pit beef and cheese). Very good meat! Not much other flavor as you would find in a more standard restaurant setting, but that's why they have the condiments separately. I went with the Tiger sauce and Hot sauce. A great compliment to the meats. Definitely worth the $7 it cost. Don't let the babble about the neighborhood bother you. Tasty stuff about 5 minutes off of I-95 travelers!
