We will be passing through Atlanta and wanted to stop in as many of the down-home eateries as we could find, however, after reading every review posted about this "joint", I can positively say we will NOT be stopping here.

This Cannot Be The Same Food That he Ate On The Show. No Kangaroo. Chicken Bland. Expensive! Not WOrth It!

Food was cold and unseasoned. Was looking for to the kangaroo is saw on DDD, but they only did that for the show. Big disappointment.

Planned on going here for dinner tonight. Checked out the restaurant menu online and had some questions about why the menu didn't have redneck sushi, kangaroo, etc. I called the restaurant and was told, "oh yeah... those were just some things we made for the show." What a fraud... I'm extremely disappointed that these folks are getting advertisement through DDD for food they don't even routinely serve!

The food was slightly better than average but the neighborhood is sketch.

Blast from the past. The fried chicken and veggies are to die for. They only take cash but guess what they pre date credit cards by a couple of decades. It takes you back to a time probably before you were born.

Sunday lunch was salmon over polenta. Salmon over cooked and no seassoning as well as polenta. A bit pricy and cash only. Veggies and rolls very good. I would say to stick with the chicken.

The grub is OK, but they will pimp you of you use a credit card. Get this: They DON'T take credit cards - but then get this: THEY DO HAPPEN TO HAVE AN ATM in the lobby where you can go and withdraw $$$ for whatever you owe PLUS and extra US$2.50 - and THEY OWN the ATM! So they don't take credit cards, but their machine does! Sooo pimpish, even for this ghetto neighborhood in the ATL
