BBQ Shack

Pretty good Q, but not the best I've every had being from KC.  Their smoked jalapenos were interesting and tasty.  I really had no complaints about any of the meat, it was all smoked well and had a good flavor.  They did move from their original rustic location.  Ask a local for directions, they'll know where it's at.  Kinda hidden in a strip mall behind a hotel. 

Stopped on the way to KC.  Was in a brand new location in strip mall next to UPS store.  The ribs were ok, but not up to my expectations, interesting, but once was enough.

Stopped here on the way to Kansas City. The ribs were really good. No sauce added or needed. The chicken were raved about, but I thought they were nothing to brag about. Just a fried wing, nothing special. When asked what kind of sauce I wanted with the wings, I asked for the garlic habanero, which came out of the 'fridge and was cold. Not a good touch. Overall, if passing through Paola, KS, stop  in and have a rib. The place is right ff of the highway.
