ROOF 106 at The Matheson

As a retiree and have been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world in my golden years. I love what Chef Dustin Valette has done with Roof 106 at The Matheson. Recently, my travels took me to Healdsburg, California, and I had the pleasure of dining at Roof 106, a rooftop restaurant that offers a breathtaking view of the city while you enjoy your meal. But, let me tell you, the view wasn't the only highlight of my dining experience. The pizza, oh my goodness, the pizza was absolutely divine! I ordered the Margherita pizza, a classic choice, and it was cooked to perfection. The crust was crispy and golden, and the tomato sauce was flavorful and not too acidic. The mozzarella cheese was fresh and melted just right. It was simple, yet delicious. But, what really made this pizza stand out was the fresh, high-quality ingredients. The tomatoes were plump and juicy, the basil was fragrant and the olive oil was of premium quality. I could tell that the chef takes great care in sourcing the best ingredients for their dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely. The rooftop location gave us a panoramic view of the city and the setting sun as we enjoyed our meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our glasses were filled and we were comfortable throughout our meal. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Healdsburg, California, I highly recommend a visit to Roof 106. Not only will you be treated to a beautiful view, but you'll also be able to enjoy some of the best pizza you'll ever have. And trust me, as a retiree who has been able to travel and try a lot of great food, that's saying something!
