Birria Grilled Cheese. Grilled Texas toast, chipotle mayo, melted Chihuahua cheese, Fried Egg, Beef Birria, lime, cilantro and onion. Served over the birria broth, lime and a side of ancho cotija fries.

I visited this one on separate days since it's less than a quarter mile from my condo. I had the Empanada de Camaron Adobado on the first visit but realized the other dish was only available during brunch hours. I visit this place occasionally and my biggest gripe is always how overcooked and dry their dishes are. The Empanada de Camaron Adobado is no exception. I can see the potential since the sauce is very tasty and the empanada with shrimp is also, but the outer coating was overcooked and dry. I decided to give the place another try with brunch and had the Birria Grilled Cheese. Again the toast itself was a bit burnt. It was a better dish this time around but both dishes were nothing exceptional. The plantains were also slightly black and burnt. I'm not sure why they consistently make this mistake since the potential could be insane. 7.2/10
