Sofajerk says Three words. #1. Flavor #2. Flavor #3. Flavor. This is the absolute best DDD spot we've been to. Reviews on 13 Gypsies highly recommended that diners order the Risotto of the Day. We took the advice and had the fortune of Blue Crab Risotto - we were licking the plate!! The beauty of 13 Gypsies is it's tapas style, so we just ordered a plethora of the menu items and were not disappointed on any of them. Seared scallops with safron aioli. The chirizo/pear/dates appetizer is a tremendous blend of spice chorizo with the ying/yang effect of sweet pears and dates. Angry Bull - whatever that spicy sauce on the beef was, we loved (had to dip our peasant bread in it!). Gnocci with mushrooms - divine. Chef Howard was toasted over and over again at our table. Don't miss this place.
