The carmel roll was great. Got that and a plate with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and biscuit and gravy. All was very good. One of our favorite stops on epic Pacific Northwest Road Trip.

Saw the sign on the side that said Guy had been here, and wanted to try it out. Everyone was super friendly. The service was wonderful and the food was even better. Their biscuts are glorious. I'll definitely go back!

June 27, 2012... Got to Jimmy's around 10:00AM, not busy, but took forever to get little Lysa to even come over to bring us drinks... Took our order, and again about :30+ minutes to get food. The food was mediocre! Will never go back there! And recommend you don't bother trying it!

Food is good but the service sucks They need to get adult women servers and not some young girl that has no clue how to be a waitress or give good timely service. I do not think I will be going back.

I have eaten at Jimmy's only one time, and the food was good, a couple month's later after bragging about how great the food was ther I brought my friend there and we sat down, and waited for the waitress for waters and menue's. 5 minutes go by and a couple came in and sat behind us in a booth, and the waitress came and gave them waters and menue's and completely ignored us,  I told my friend lets move to the counter where we would be noticed by the owner as I have sat there befor and have gotten fare service, well after another 5 minute's, no nothing we we're again ignored  it felt like we we're ghosts. , so we got up and left as we went out the door I said loudly that seance no one wanted our service we we're going some plkace else, now I know the food is good but that was rediculous, oh and my friend is mexican.  I feel really bad that that happened, but I will never ever recomend the place and I hope the place burns down,,,

Just went to Jimmy's yesterday and as far as breakfast goes it was pretty damn good! I had the Denver skillet with poached eggs and my eggs were perfect. The potatoes were seasoned nicely and the biscuit that they served me with my meal was HUGE and perfectly cooked. The waitresses were very friendly too. My son's pancake came shaped like Mickey, my hubby loved his chicken fried steak skillet and our coffee was refilled constantly. We would definately go back to try lunch next time!

I drove from Edmonton to Coeur d'Alene primarily to do a Triple D eating experience. My first stop was Jimmy's. I started with the pecan bun which was everything I had hoped it would be. I had Jimmy's version of Eggs Benedict with grits. I was happy with the meal it was flavorful and lots of it. Service was friendly and I was satisfied with my first Triple D experience. I highly recommend Jimmy's.

just went to jimmy's downt the street this morning and it wasn't that impressive. I had the Chicken fried steak skillet and the chicken fried steak was overcooked like something fried from a grocery store and the potatoes did not taste fresh. The only things with any flavor were the onions and bell peppers. the gravy an buiscut were okay. The waitress that served us never came back throughout my meal to refill my coffee cup and only stopped at our table to give us the bill. overall the chicken fried steak skillet meal was subpar and the service staff wasn't attentive. I think if I were to go back I would just stick with an egg scramble because at least then I would know the ingredients are fresh.

Chicken and Dumplings are to die for!

Jimmy's Down the street is known for their homemade style Southern Comfort food. Gigantic Cinnamon Buns and Pecan Rolls, Chicken and dumplings, sausage gravy and biscuits, massive omelets, and other soul satisfying faire. It has a cafe style with pictures and memorabilia of John Wayne, Elvis, antique cars, and more. The wait staff is exceptionally friendly and hard working. Many people are regulars who come daily to visit with friends over a great breakfast and coffee.
