COMMENT FROM A FAN POSTED BY RICK Had dinner at Gatsby's Diner last night, my wife had the Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes with mushroom, red wine,onions,garlic gravy. I had the smoked pork chop with mashed potatoes with string beens. Food was perfect the staff was unbelievable. Forgot to mention the homemade potato chips. I told the server on the scale of 1-10 it was a 40, try it they say the burgers are also good. We also had 1 beet slider with red onion green goddess dressing, unbelievable! Awesome !!

We love this place!  We try to go there when ever we are in the Sacramento area.  Fabulous food, Burgers are to die for, yummy shakes, great atmosphere!  A MUST

I love gatsbys and the food is great I love every bit of it . I actually work ther and I am 15 and they treat me like family. :-D

PLease be aware that the German specialties are dinner only. WE went there just for them, making a special trip on a Sunday & were disappointed. On the flip side, the burger sliders are available for lunch but not for dinner.

Had Salisbury steak. It was burnt to a crisp on 1 side, and the fries were hard like rocks and cold... Service was great. Not the folks cooking that were on Diners-Drive in & Dives.. maybe that's why the food was disappointing
