L. A. Pines Cafe
Anonymous says We were passing through Slidell on a Friday evening, so stopped in for dinner. The prime rib plate was excellent and very reasonable at $14. Gigantic onion rings were great. Others in our party were impressed with the catfish and shrimp. Someone at the table next to us ordered the hamburger steak, which was huge and smothered in onions and gravy. Looked so good, we were tempted to ask the kid for a bite. The cook/manager was very friendly and checked on us a couple of times.
