ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!!! People were so friendly and the food was delicious! Even my friend who is a picky eater loved her food and wanted to come back. THE RED HEAD LADY ROCKS!!!! Thanks for the warm hospitality Ginger! I would love to come back again!

Went here a couple of month back. Nice atmosphere inside and the wait staff was very attentive, the more customers that came in the faster everyone worked. Thats something that you can't say for a lot of places, and they all had each others back when a customer meeded something even though it wasn't that servers table. As for the food it was pretty good. I drove up from New Orleans to try it but probably wouldn't do that again. If you are on I-10 North of the lake then by all means it is a good place to eat. But if you are down in "The Big Easy" go ahead and try one of the spots closer to your location. Thumbs Up!

Our final DDD meal (visited Surrey's and Katie's in NOLA) - of the three, this was ho-hum, but I think the other two restaurants spoiled us!  This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but is cutely decorated inside.  I had the roast beef po' boy while my friend had the shrimp po'boy.  The bread on both sandwiches was perfect....soft inside but with some crunch on the outside!  Yum!  Onion rings were tasty - corn meal type batter with a little bit of spice to make it interesting.  I don't know that I'd make the trip to dine here again, but it was worth one visit.

Hi I am Four and I love Louie's. I visited this morning with Mom and Dad. I have been there many times and love the food and people. I have had my parents buy the jewelry too. Hope to see you there. Sorry I missed the Red Head Lady this morning but Louie said she had a busy day planned.

We actually ate at the second of the two restaurants.  The one in Covington, LA is supposedly owned by the son.  Many of their menu items are the same.  We had the crab cakes.  They were the best I have ever had!  Absolutely delicious!  I ordered the Zydeco burger and it could have easily served two people.  I highly recommend it!

I am the Communications Assistant for the St. Tammany Parish Tourist and Convention Commission. I want to provide you with some missing information about Louie and the Redhead Lady Restaurant, which you recently visited. The restaurant does have a Facebook page; here is the link: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Mandeville-LA/Louie-and-the-Redhead-Lady/125543745828 I don't think they have a Twitter page, but am checking into it. Louie and the Redhead Lady is known for fluffy crabmeat omelettes and grillades and grits for breakfast, catfish po-boys for lunch, or Oysters New Orleans. CHEF/OWNER LOUIE FINNAN enjoys his passion for cooking authentic regional dishes to comfort the Louisiana soul. Thanks for coming to St. Tammany Parish and helping to spread the word about our phenomenal chefs and fantastic eateries. We hope you come back soon!
