When you think of a Triple D restaurant this is it! We ordered the meatball sandwich and beef & noodles, topped off with Indiana's state pie 'Sugar Cream'. All homemade. Oh MY! I thought I made a mean meatball, the flavor so good, tender and moist. The marinara compliments the meatballs perfectly. Just the right amount of messy eating. I'm not sure who created this noodle recipe it rivals my wife's. The sugar cream pie was served warmed and was mighty tasty. I lived in Indiana for several years way back when and I didn't even know they had a state pie

I tried the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was ok but a bit greasy. The restaraunt needs a good strong cleaning and updating. The server was wonderful....making an otherwise average experience enjoyable. Overall.....not bad but wouldn't go out of my way to find it again.

Seven of us went to visit yesterday. We had sandwiches, burgers, fries, onion rings, and the epic beef and noodles. Everyone agreed that this place is a great place! We will be back to try the meatballs and pizzas!

This place is what Triple D is all about. Great people, great food and down to earth atmosphere. Our server, Emily was top shelf, in fact she was more than just a waitress. She knew the menu, the history and understood why we were there. Triple D has created a whole new definition of dining, and not on the basis of high prices and snob appeal. Good food, great people, and you always seem to leave wishing this place was in your neighborhood!!

The service at this restaurant was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good too...great onion rings! My husband had the Mexican burger which he enjoyed and I had the club sandwich. We both recommend the Irish Nachos too!

Some of the food was good others not so.  Our waitress lacked personality.  May try again some time in the future if near by.  Liked looking at the map on the wall near the front door.

Although this classic restaurant gave off a very hometown feel, the staff was incredibly impersonal to an average outsider making my family and me feel very uncomfortable. The food may have been delicious if you hadn't eaten in 3 days, except the tenderloin was plain and dry..the thick layer of mayonnaise didn't help much either. The spaghetti was good, but the overall experience was a huge let down. As for the pie......well good luck to you and your taste buds.

Just ate the tenderloin and chocolate cream pie - truly the best of either one I've ever had. And trust me, that's a lot of tenderloins. This one is king. :-E

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Steer-In. It was very busy but the tables were getting a fast turn around. After we ordered our food was delivered quickly. Good size meals and decent prices. I had the homemade corned beef hash. I've had better elsewhere, but this one was pretty good and it was a large portion. My wife enjoyed her french toast. There's nothing "off the hook" with the Steer-In but I'd definitely visit again next time I pass through the area at mealtime.
