Our visit to Charleston March of 2015 found the same quaint restaurant everyone's been raving about. The menu is a rare delight. Nothing ordinary about it. We had the Fried Green tomatoes w/pimento sauce. Oh goodness, how did they ever come up with something so tasty? Both the Rabbit Ragout and the catfish were awesome. To top it off we had bread pudding, my hubby's fav. His mother never made it like that (she also forgot the whiskey). They don't have too many restaurants like this on our road trips, so if you get a chance in SC, make an effort to stop by.

My wife and I went for brunch on 11/3/2012. We had a pimento cheese omelette, grits, and biscuit and gravy. It was delicious and unique. I highly recommend you check it out

Visited in June 2012. The shrimp and grits and fried quail were so good that we went back for another dinner. The desserts the second night were outstanding!

We visited The Glass Onion on 2 July 2012 for dinner. Tried the pork ragout and my GF had the shrimp with andouile sausage on grits. To die for! Out of this world! also had their deviled eggs and some greens with dinner. Everything was great, the service was outstanding and the staff was uber-helpful explaining their menu. Recommend it highly, as its better than many of the chi-chi restaurants in downtown Charleston.
