I love Smalley's. Everything I've had is really good but the jerk tacos are amazing! All you can eat grilled jalapenos for a snack. If I didn't live an hour away I'd be at this weekly. Highly recommend! P.S. The 666 wings are no joke! Eat them only If you enjoy self torture!

Delicious! We have been to Stillwater many many times, but have never stopped to eat at Smalley's. I had the Jerk Pork Tacos the local award winning Macaroni and Cheese. My husband had the beef brisket. We loved everything we tried, and had great service.

Crack me up.. I give these to all the tourist who come to town. Then give em a rumchatta to cure the Triple 666 afterglow.... Worked great on the last guy. He finished two of six. Took the leftovers and left them in the plant refridge. " Free Wings- Slightly Hot" That worked too.

Really good BBQ. They use pimento wood for the grill, and this gives the meat a very unique but tasty flavor. We usually get the wings, a bloody mary or a local beer. It's an even better experience on a warm day when you can sit outside. Definitely worth a stop, and better than some of the burger joints and sports bars that are nearby.

First DDD location I've been to before the show airs. Loved getting the inside info on this. Was a really cool place, but went there as was heading out of town, so no rum for me before starting my 6 hour drive home. Asked the server what will be featured as that is usually what I like to try at DDD spots. She said will be the wings and the pork tacos. I got the wings (which are some of the best I've had), but went with the 3 meat BBQ plate instead of the tacos. BBQ was good, not as good as Q Fanatics, but some of the best I've had behind them. Didn't really try the sauces as I am type that likes the meat to speak for itself (if is real deal BBQ), but there was some of the jerk seasoning on the meat and was really good. I had the slaw and mac n cheese (added bacon and roasted peppers to mac n cheese) on the side, both were good. And with the wings did get them with jerk sauce, and loved the fact that they tasted as if were in smoker too. Will want to go back next time in Twin Cities area, and this time enjoy some of their rum selection.

You asked what Smallys is known for? I've only been there once and their menu isn't huge but they focus on Caribbean BBQ (pork, ribs), which were really good. They also had these beer batter french fries that I could not stop eating...they were amazing! On a side note, they are known for being a Rum Bar (and they literally have almost every type of rum you could think of). Hope this helped!
