The food is worth making the trip for! They have the best and fattest Gyros I've ever had and the Greek salad....don't even get me started! It is SO good! I LOVE the chicken shish-ka-bobs and that white garlic stuff they give you to dip your meat in.......it is so good and it WILL clear up any sinus problems you have!! The ONLY thing that would make Afran better would be a better building and decent restrooms.

I love this place so much. Whenever I go back to Texas I will be returning since it's just down the street from my BFF's house!

We were in Garland for a wedding and saw the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives review and decided to try it. We ordered the beef Shawarma, chicken Shawarma, Gyro plates. We ate all we could and took the rest with us. The food and the service were great. I'd go back if I lived 200 miles closer.

We didn't know this would be a buffet but we decided to try it, and it was really good! Food was hot with a nice variety. Everything was full of distinctive flavor... Not like that steam counter of a buffet your folks dragged you to in childhood. We will go back!

This place is amazing! Highly recommend it! Worth our 45 min drive to get there. The buffet was so good and a great variety! WIll go back if we get the chance.
