I gave this place 4 stars for its unique atmosphere and the freshness of the food. I had the fontina burger and the onion rings that were featured on the show. I am not a fan of burgers, generally, but this was the best burger I have ever had. I can't say the onion rings were anything super special although they were good. I think I'll get the garlic french fries next time. I would have liked to have toured the adjoining farm where they grow the crops they use in the restaurant but it was too late.

My family and I ate here and it wasn't anything special. However, it is associated with Joe's BBQ in downtown Gilbert, which is amazing. Red Cream Soda and Homemade Root Beer on tap. I could eat there once a week.

We saw this place on triple D and had to check it out We were meeting some family there and they got stuck in traffic so while waiting We ordered some apatizers they were got but Luke warm at best :( Then about a half hr later when they arrived we ordered our meals the food we good but once again everyone's food was luck warm at best and they weren't that many people there The place was clean and the workers were friendly but luke warm food at best is a big downer But we probably will give them another chance.

Thx Triple D! After watching many of your shows, my wife and I got to try one of your recommended eateries......and a great one it was! We're vacationing here in Phoenix for one month and want to get to as many of your finds as we can....and Joe's was a great start! Loving ahi tuna, I had to try it and it was excellent....looked just like the one you were chowin' down on...had the garlic fries with it...excellent choice...also had a side of the beet salad, again an excellent choice. My wife had the vege pizza, terrific meal...oh and I shouldn't forget the 'date' milkshake......uummm....here for another 2 weeks, will have to go again...thx for having Joe's on your show.......MLV, Calgary, AB

Traveling back from Tucson to the Phx airport (very easy drive from/to the PHX airport--mapquest directions are good), I stopped by Joe's Farm Grill.  I had seen the episode on DDD several times, and was always intrigued.  Gilbert, AZ, is like being in the midwest....even though you are in the desert.  This place is not a diner...drive through and certainly not a dive....Service was fast.  I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was excellent (sauce was great, thin and crispy crust which I like, fresh veggies, definitely a double thumbs up).  Lots of picnic tables set up around the restaurant under shade trees and GRASS (I thought this was supposed to the desert?).  Lots of families...some brought blankets and sat on the lawn...some people even brought their dogs.  This place is like an oasis.  Really fun and lovely. Would love to know why there are two GI Joes and one Barbie Doll ensconced into the wall of the unisex bathroom.....Odd?....

I love going here with my family. Everything looks, smells and tastes delicious. Can't beat all the farm fresh ingredients. The fontina burger has simple but amazing flavors and my 2 year old couldn't get enough of the chicken and fries basket.

I live right down the street.  The bathrooms are the best part of this place.  The BBQ chicken pizza was bland.  Joe's BBQ in Gilbert is better, go there.

The smoked baby back bbq ribs are fantastic.

This is the real deal. Joe needs to duplicate this concept around town.

The food here is awesome.  Barbque was tops, if you like garlic the garlic fries are a must.  Onion rings with Panko batter were outstanding.  This will be a regular for us anytime we are in the Phoenix area.

The food is FABULOUS!!  I had the fish and the tartar sauce was SO GOOD I could have eaten it with a spoon :)   Oh the fish was great too!  LOL  The tables under all the trees are so beautiful.  Great family location.  I loved being able to walk around in the evening sunset hours and check out the "farm."

I have been there several times and have had great meals every time.  The chicken sandwich was quite yummy!  The pizza was wonderful as well.  I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a fresh organic type place to eat.

We have eaten here at least a half dowzen times and have tried many of the items off of the menu and they are all delicious! I especially love the shakes (go when the strawberry is in season, to die for!). My daughter is very fond of the pizza (I am not crazy about it because the cheese is very sharp, but if that is your preference than you'd love it!) and the onion rings are yummy!! Try it and you won't be disappoiinted! Be sure to take a quick look at the bathrooms, uniquely decorated and worth a peek ;)   Also check out the fruit stand and take home a few goodies before you go!
