On my recent trip to Cranston, RI, I made sure to stop by Edgewood Cafe, a retro diner featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. As soon as I walked in, I felt transported back in time with the vinyl booths, counter seating, and 1950s decor. Since 1948, this family-run spot has been serving classic American diner fare with Greek influences. I tried the pastichio, a Greek lasagna baked with savory ground beef and creamy béchamel - just as Guy Fieri raved about on the show. The stuffed squid and spanakopita were also standouts. From the cozy, vintage atmosphere to the delicious comfort foods, Edgewood Cafe is a must-visit for any foodie traveling through Rhode Island seeking some tasty local flavor. I'm so glad I stopped by this Cranston gem.

- Posted by wishingilivedcloserHad dinner at the Edgewood Cafe last night. Wow, great little cafe and fabulous food. Had their little necks with chourico and would have it again and again. I highly recommend this cafe if you are looking for a great dinner place to share with friends.
