- Posted by starrhuntressI love this place. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was quirky but fun. Kinda loud so if u want a quiet dinner this isn't the place.
- Posted by jimGreat Sangria Red or White
- Posted by sandy from INDthe fish and chips were awful. I would not ever go back.
- Posted by AnonymousDecent restaurant but, according to our server, the DDD episode was taped 5 years ago and the chef/owner in the episode sold the restaurant 4 years ago. The food was fine but not as good as you would expect based on the episode. Guppy's about 200 yards north would be a better choice.
- Posted by CliffTook our daughter here as a treet over Christmas. The lobster was terrible soft shell and mushy. Not worth the drive.
- Posted by AnonymousBest damn show on TV. They should have a Guy network. We are visiting Florida for 3 weeks and will viait a different restaurant evcery night he was in Mike Seaton, Guelph, ON, Canada
- Posted by Matt BaxterFantastic!
- Posted by agfinkthe food was good, the staff was great, and my kids still have their frisbees that the kids meal was served on...you should try it! :)
- Posted by PamsabearI have been eating at Keegans since it first opened at it's original location further south on Gulf Blvd. Cesar sold the restaurant after Triple D filmed there. The seafood basics are still there and prepared well. But the great creativity is gone. Last meal I had there was an oyster po'boy. The roll had the consistency of wonder bread, the oysters were well done, but there was no spicy sauce, just plain mayo. I don't eat there very often anymore.
- Posted by AnonymousGreat Spot! The Bisque is awesome!
- Posted by Julie and JoanneWonderful place to have lunch on a hot August day! Grouper and She-Crab soup excellent!! Key Lime pie? WOW, what can I say? Awesome. Staff was great, a fun atmosphere!
- Posted by ArdithWe're big DDD fans so we worked this place into a recent trip to Clearwater Beach. Excellent is all I can say. We tried the octopus, the gator, and the gumbo - all tasty and well prepared. We each tried one of the specials of the day and they were all excellent as well. All the details were well thought out - including the kids meals being served on frisbees (who needs one more cheap restaurant cup?). Wonderful is all I can say - except that we will be back!
- Posted by TomI went only because a buddy swears bt DDD. I was shocked at how good it was, and I'm not a big seafood guy. Start with a cup of She crab soup, some alligator tail and amberjack spread on crackers, washed down with a few Anchor Steams. If they have the escolar or grouper cheeks, you have to have them. If not on menu, any entree is incredible. Every time I go to FLA, Keegans is my 1st stop!
- Posted by AshleyWe went to Keegan's last night. The food was amazing and the ambiance was just great. Between the three of us, we had snapper, crabcakes, calamari, and a pitcher of sangria. My friend who didn't even like fish loved the place and wants to go back. Five stars! You gotta try this place!
- Posted by AnonymousWe vacation on Sand Key every spring and Keegan's is absolutely my favorite place to eat in the Clearwater/Tampa area. The chef is fabulous. I always order one of the fish specials of the day. Try a pitcher of sangria - it's excellent and made fresh to order.
