We've visited there many times over the last few years. It's in an old adobe building that has been renovated to be a lot more comfortable. It's more quaint than upscale, but the bread, cookies and empanadas are excellent! Last visit was on 11/7/2014.

We made a trip there from South Texas Friday morning 03/14/2014. Customer service was great. They probably could have used more help because there was a long line. That could have been my fault, I was practically buying the store. I took my 64 year old dad some empanadas Saturday. That night he called me extremely excited. He said the empanadas reminded him of the ones his mom made when he was a kid. He said he never found anyone that could make them like her. Last night (Monday), he called to ask when I could go back and buy more. When food reminds you of your childhood, this is the best testimony a Panaderia can have. The only negative, the website seems too high scale. We almost did not go because of that. Once we got there we realized it was very welcoming and comfortable. The website does not match the feel of the place.
