We set out to provide inspired, made-from-scratch food in a casual counter setting. We believe in the power of the condiment, which is why we have over 15 unique sauces on our menu, not including our homemade mayo, ketchup, and gravy. The potential for wild and bold flavor combinations is endless, and we've explored the possibility by creating weekly specials, which are oftentimes the creations of our staff and guests. We pride ourselves on being a place for locals, but hope to proudly represent the Boston food scene to visitors. Saus was started by three local university (Boston University, Northeastern) grads who were ousted from their company during the 2008 recession. With the help of their BU professor and slew of supportive friends and family, they were able to fulfill a common dream.
