I live in Anthem and have had both breakfast & dinner at Roberto's. Not that good IMHO. Tortillas are thick and dry. Never had a chorizo burro in a Mexican restaurant I couldn't eat...until I had one at Roberto's; odd taste and not much chorizo. Give me Filibertos any day over Roberto's; or better yet...Carolinas.
Not trying to hate on Roberto's, but I'm just not impressed and can't understand how this place made it on D,D, & Ds. YMMV.

real mexican food

Either Guy knows nothing about mexican food or he is getting paid to say this food is good! Everyone in Phoenix knows you only eat at this one when you are drunk. It's cheap, greasy, horrible mexican food.

Guy Fieri must have been faking it because the food is not that good. In fact, the carne asada was awful. It was chewy and had too much fat. I will not go back.

Excellent food, one of the best Mexican resturants I have ever eaten at. The el pastor is the wonderful. 8-) The carnitas are tender and delicious.
New dive opened up in Anthem. Can't wait to try it,
