2. Nine Restaurants Added to the Map
Northwest Arkansas is a corridor now. Ramen Nara in Rogers and Danger Dave's in Bentonville both appear in the Season 43 episode "Beef, Bowls, and Burritos," joining last month's Rogers and Bentonville additions along I-49.
Seattle's Ballard stakeout paid off. August's filming sightings now have a name: Lupe's Situ Tacos, confirmed by My Ballard for an upcoming episode. Local Tide, also in Seattle, joins it on the map.
And the Grand Strand. Guy filmed at several Myrtle Beach-area restaurants this month, and we've started putting them on the map: Toffino's Italian Bakery Deli Pizzeria, Brisket (North Myrtle Beach), Seasons By 10/Fold, J-Mike's Flavor Station, and Old Town Crepes. Episode details aren't announced yet, so we'll fill those in when they air.
3. In the News: DDD Everywhere
- Guy filmed in Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach Online and Yahoo covered the crew's stops along the Grand Strand. See the new map entries above.
- Wilmington's Copper Penny heads to Triple D Nation. Port City Daily reports the longtime favorite will be filmed, and the Wilmington Star-News looked back on Guy's last trip to town.
- Seattle's mystery filming, solved. My Ballard confirmed Lupe's Situ Tacos for an upcoming episode.
- Two more Northwest Arkansas restaurants. Local coverage confirmed the pair now on our map.
- Palm Beach County keeps feeding Guy. The Palm Beach Post covered a return visit to a county Thai restaurant, and followed with the owner of Wok by the Beach thanking Guy months after the episode.
- Alaska's 21 DDD restaurants. The Alaska Current rounded up every Alaskan stop.
- The price of Flavortown. A look at the high cost restaurants pay to appear on the show made the rounds.
- The listicle wave. Tasting Table ran 10 best bakeries, 10 sandwiches Guy raved about, and a Texas BBQ joint that won him over with "dynamite" handmade sausages. Only In Your State highlighted South of Beale's Tennessee bread pudding.
