I have been watching the show for years and I don’t remember ever seeing them go to a drive in.

    You’re not alone — *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives* is definitely a little misleading atleast for the "Drive-Ins" part. Despite the title, the show is **mostly about diners, dives, and casual spots**, not actual drive-ins but I think it's visited a couple of them car hops i.e. drive-ins that do that but can't remember off the top of my head so if I remember them I will add a comment ... Guy has visited plenty of mom-and-pop restaurants, greasy spoons, barbecue joints, sandwich shops, and other local favorites but not a lot of drive-ins, you're correct ... hopefully someone else knows the few that he's been to.
