Helping people find answers about the TV Show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives

Missing a favorite that was on the old site

The Metro Diner, in Fredericksburg, VA, was listed on the old site but is missing from this one. Their website shows a clip with Guy doing his thing. Oversight?

Hi David, not an oversight as the database is the same so a little history, when Metro Diner was featured on the the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives TV show, they only had one location in Jacksonville, FL and that was back in 2009-10. I only add the TripleD restaurants where they we're filmed so now they have grown like crazy and are in like 12 states now https://metrodiner.com/locations, a testament to the show helping out small business. Couple fun facts that I know about well, more rumor I heard from people who have been on the show several times but in the early days of the show, they only filmed at restaurants with a single location b/c they didn't want to do any type of chains but I think that fell by the wayside as the seasons wore on. Also, when Jennifer and I visited Metro Diner in Jacksonville (Sept 2010), we talked with the owner and at that time, he said that he was planning to expand as he he had family high up at Cracker Barrel and they knew how to make Metro Diner expand and oh boy, they sure did. He also said that lots of people found him using my site back in 2010 and he was pretty blown away with the TV show response.
