The Buttered Biscuit in Sumner, WA

Hi Guy,There is a great gem of a place tucked in a corner of Sumner, Washington. My sister and I take our 80 year old Dad to breakfast once a month and my sister suggested "The Buttered Biscuit". We took Dad there and he loved the biscuits and gravy! You have to check out "The Buttered Biscuit" in Sumner, Washington. The food is amazing, the portions are huge, it is home style comfort food and the service is excellent.I have many friends and family that go there for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I recommend it to everyone I know.Kathy CrowleyTacoma, Washington

Buttered Biscuit in Sumner WA was a great experience before Guy came. Buttered Biscuit in Sumner WA was a great experience before Guy came. After they got too busy and the menu suffered, especially the breakfast potatoes. They stopped making the delicious potatoes and went to a frozen disgusting substitute.

The Buttered Biscuit in Sumner, WA Turn the Camaro around and come on back to the Great Northwest. I just can not believe that you cane to Tacoma WA and did not go 3 miles up the road to Sumner and stop at the Buttered Biscuit. http://www.thebutteredbiscuit.net/Everything is made from scratch and using Guy's words "out of bounds!" Tonight we stopped by for dinner and the fish and chips has a breakfast cereal coating on it coupled with made from scratch tater sauce was one of the best ever. My daughter had the All Day Stroganoff, fresh made pasta and a cream sauce that makes it so rich that after about 5 forkfuls you are fighting to get more of it down. My wife has the smokes salmon fettuccini made with the same pasta. Each meals comes with a wilted bacon and lettuce salad that is unlike anything anywhere else, a made from scratch square of corn bread that stood at least 3 inches tall with a sugar crust and wiped butter, and a homemade potato bread grilled wedges that had a roasted garlic butter that you would swear has bourbon in it. Next trip to Seattle or Tacoma just point the Camaro towards Sumner WA and discover a great restaurant that makes everything from scratch, with care, and every item has a twist to it that makes it something exceptional. Couple that with portions that just demand boxes (95% of people take leftovers home) and you have winner worthy of your show.
