Just dined for the first time at Cafe rel in Franklin, NC last night. Just dined for the first time at Cafe rel in Franklin, NC last night. Was pretty skeptical when told that we were driving for over an hour to go to this eatery for a friends 69th birthday celebration that is attached to the "hot Spot" gas station. Would have driven for three hours to eat here.... incredible menu with french influence and superb desserts. Wait staff knowledgeable and attentive and owner with a personality (not many owners have the guts to ask you to not linger and leave because others were waiting at the door). Little gem in a small Western NC town. Triple D would missing a real opportunity if you do not visit this place.
Actually were a Southern Community, Redneck is a very harsh term. With the Diversity of citizens that reside in our Mountain Town we steer away from Labeling.
