Rusty Can in Byfield, MA
The best BBQ and dive bar, people come hours away for a taste. No one ever knew where Byfield was before this joint opened two years ago...now you say Byfield and people instantly ssy THE CAN!!! I coach hockey for a living and consider myself a foodie and eating at restaurants is a hobby. Rino's by the way is off the hook!!!! Nearby Newburyport is a foodies dream as well. Come visit and we can take in a hockey game, dine at some great spots for the show and even play a round of golf depending on the time of year.

The Rusty Can is a small rustic hole in the wall BBQ place in Byfield MA. It looks like it was inspired by the types of places already reviewed by guy. The food is delicious with a stable menu but they also get creative and experiment with daily blackboard specials that get advertised on Facebook daily. They make killer RIBs and their BBQ sauce is incredible, but their burger with pork belly is everyone’s favorite.
Outstanding BBQ in Massachusetts?? The brisket bomb sub is a MUST.
