Alaska Roadhouse in Soldotna, AK
THIS IS NOT A SPAM! Guy, we have a `Smoked Salmon Super Bowl' as part of the musicfest, which is what draws everyone to Alaska. 3 days of Fish, love & Music! We would love for you to be the Master Judge in the contest, where smoked salmon recipes come from small salmon suppliers and are judged. We had the first annual contest in 2019. We would love to have you there for 2020, the first weekend in August, our 10th anniversary. Leading up to the Salmonfest Musicfest `smoked Salmon Super Bowl' you could do a road trip in Alaska, to some historic roadhouses in your car (Camaro?) for your Triple D TV show.. These are roadhouses that fed adventurous pioneers on their way to the gold fields in Alaska. I didn't want to go through your agent without trying to personally have a conversation with you first. It would be a great tv episode for your show and then the Salmonfest Master Judge role would be perfect. We are a 501c non profit organization that donates $ to the protections of our renewable resource, the salmon. You of all people should know that our waters are being threatened. This would be the sea/ocean to table salmon protections that are so vital on down the food chain, so to speak. You as a restauranteur and food lover would know and appreciate that. As far as Salmonfest, we are Alaska's largest outdoor, annual musicfest, 65 bands over 3 days, the first weekend of each August. Salmonfest has become a worldwide destination musicfest. It is so unique, so Alaskan. Something you and your wife should not miss out on. Come join us for 2020! Be one of our `Wild Salmon Warriors' and join the migration of the salmon to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. 90% of the world's Sockey Salmon is harvested in Alaskan waters. Not to mention Halibut and other fish too! King Crab! Spot Prawns, etc! I will help you coordinate the roadtrip for Triple D tv show to roadhouses and unique dives, etc. I am the National Media Liaison for Salmonfest Alaska and would love to work with you. I would love to talk to you personally or meet with you personally . I am hoping I will not be rebuffed in my attempts to make contact with you. Our producer of Salmonfest, Jim Stearns spent years as a chef, creating meals for the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. Think of the stories! Jim wrote a book, available online titled `Feeding the Dead'. Look it up, get an insight to Jim Stearns, who also helped feed the people affected by Hurricane Katrina.
