Hello - I am sorry to keep bothering you, but you must PLEASE visit this "hidden gem" located in Blackstone, MA. This small, family-run barbeque spot is located right on the Woonsocket, R.I border. Located in a very modest strip mall, this wonderful and lovingly curated restaurant has done everything right from day one. Starting with the gorgeous beef rib to the slow-smoked prime rib, the entire menu is a treasure chest of BBQ done the right way. I have written to this site numerous times regarding Goodstuff, but have received nothing at all in terms of feedback. The reason I am writing to you yet again is to tell you that the two brothers, Kevin and Dave have implemented a school lunch program within the town of Blackstone to ensure that all children in need of food during this Covid-19 quarantine will be fed. Both Kevin and Dave are going above and beyond to help local families in need. It would mean so very much to me to receive a response re: this email. This family run restaurant is amazing. It's run by two brother who are not only AMAZING chefs. They feed school children for free during covid lock down. They do charity night every Thursday, I haven't seen a community tragedy that these guys haven committed time or money into even helped a few folks who've had house fires, and just recently they held an event where 100% of the sales go directly to employees, raising over 10k for their employees end of year bonuses. Not to mention I think they are one of the only live fire bbq restaurants in the area. They cook outside right in front on these two gigantic smokers that are taller than they are. Their ribs are amazing, but I always go for the pastrami. This is unlike anything you've ever had before. Thick cut and tender, it's amazing. This place is a Triple D type of place for sure. You have to Google them for yourself and see. You're gonna love these guys. P.s. the smoked turkey is amazing too. Please give these guys the attention they deserve. P.s.s. plus they have fresh kettle corn AND homemade rootbeer. Sorry for the rambling endorsement, but this is a match made in heaven.
I apologize for bothering you (yet again) regarding Goodstuff Smokehouse in Blackstone, MA , however I just cannot help myself. This place truly is the real deal, and they would make a wonderfully worthy addition to your show.
Goodstuff is located in a small, nondescript "strip mall" in Blackstone, MA. Right near the Woonsocket, RI border, this wonderfully low-key spot produces some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten. I have traveled extensively in the south/southwest ( I'm a graduate of the U of AZ, and my brother attended med school in San Antonio, TX at this time as well. Our pastime was meeting up to try all of the BBQ joints anywhere near/in either TX or AZ. I can honestly say I have never had a better burnt ends or brisket, not to mention the ribs. Additionally, they offer a heavenly smoked Prime Rib on the weekends, as well. If I were on death row, this would my last meal request. The best and most important part about this special spot are the people. Owned and run by two brothers who started smoking/bbqing meat as a hobby, these two lovely low key guys have created a truly special spot in Blackstone, MA. They have defined N.E. BBQ, and take pride in doing it the right way...no rushing, no shortcuts. The offerings include choices of turkey, beef, chicken and pork; all prepared lovingly. Despite facing the challenges of Covid-19, they created a "free school lunch" over the summer for kids in need. I know that I have written in quite a few times, and I do not mean to bother you. This BBQ joint is a seriously real-deal gem. Located on the Blackstone MA / Woonsocket RI border, in an unassuming strip mall, this spot is easy to miss. Located at 97 Main St in Blackstone, MA. I have submitted at least five or six requests for Goodstuff to be visited by Guy, and have never received any type of confirmation.
