The most amazing fresh fish caught by the chef himself. Amazing 4lb steak. Every dish has the PERFECT amount of spice and kick to it. Run by the coolest guy, everyone who comes in is family. Always have the best time there, the atmosphere is so laid back. Order everything!

Whitney is an absolute culinary genius... his attitude may not be for some, but if he loves you, he says it often and shows you with his food. It's the type of place for comfort food if your having a rough week or something light like the fresh catch right off the damn boat. I have gone here and just had the best experiences with the owner and friends, taking food Togo to the beach is my jam as well. Best smoked fish dip you'll ever have. (I've eaten it everywhere its on the menu for 20 years) Best personal pie in NYC... who puts clams on pizza?! This guy! His pastas (especially the pork butt with buratta) are out of this world with flavors that made me so happy.. I could go on and on. It's a very tight knit community in the Rockaways and Whit's is a staple spot. It's BYOB and the atmosphere is just everything. I love Whit! And the whole effing staff rocks too! Whit’s End opened in Rockaway Beach in 2013 and has been a staple in the community for years. With his outrageous decor and wacked out vibes that are throughout the entire restaurant inside and out. It adds to what the overall flavor of the restaurant brings. And the food is no different , from fresh caught seafood ( caught by whit and his friends on the ocean and the bay). Big ass shrimp , succulent scallops , a steak cooked in the pizza oven that could feed a family. And where It all began you can’t forget about the abundance of crazy and unbelievably delicious brick oven pizzas. By far one of the places in all of NYC and it’s no secret . Lines around the block all summer long and no one cares. Live music blaring through the streets and did I mention it’s BYOB so don’t be scared to roll in with a cooler and if you got some Tequila the kitchen will be your biggest fan.
Whit is a total kook ! Restaurant is super cool, decor super strange and the food outta this world . It’s like gourmet flavor but in the company of strange .
